Low-Impact Development is recognised by the Welsh Planning system as playing a key role in the transition towards a low-carbon society.
There is National planning guidance for low-impact developments in place across Wales - One Planet Development (TAN6).
There is also local planning guidance which varies from County to County. The most advanced being in Pembrokeshire - policy 52 (JUDP).

Below is Lammas' planning application - A landmark precedent in that it is the first prospective low-impact application to be passed in the UK. It is in essence a collective of 9 individual applications.
